My Staple Superfood Coffee - Hot + Iced!

My morning routine often begins with a cup of coffee. These are two of my favorite recipes that kickstart my day and get the creativity flowing

My morning routine never lacks a well-crafted coffee in my favorite mug to perk me up in the am. Going out to cafes is enjoyable, but for my first cup of the day, I love to make it just the way I want in my own kitchen. In the past six months, I’ve been adding a teaspoon of collagen and maca to boost my drink with extra health benefits. Collagen does wonders for your skin and maca helps with hormone balance.

If you’re having trouble waking up in the morning - add these coffee recipes into your routine and stepping out from under the covers becomes a bit easier!

Foamy Steamed Collagen Coffee

Pour hot coffee into a mug. Warm almond milk in a glass frother for about 30 seconds in the microwave. Add maca, collagen, and stevia. Froth until powders are combined and foam forms at the top of your milk. Top with a dash of cacao and if you want to get really fancy - a few dried rose petals.

Frothy Blended Iced Maca Coffee

Add cooled coffee, almond milk, coffee ice cubes, and remaining powdered ingredients into a blender. Blend for 45 seconds and pour into a glass with a copper straw! Sprinkle with a bit more pink salt for a salted caramel flavor.
